Mary Christian, Pharm.D., MBA, R.Ph., is head of Regulatory Affairs, Quality & Compliance at Lyndra Therapeutics, bringing 20+ years’ experience delivering visionary, innovative solutions across complex global landscapes. She has created high functioning, fit-for-purpose global regulatory, quality and pharmacovigilance teams for emerging biotech companies, envisioned and built new capabilities in large pharma companies, and led R&D and regulatory teams globally across many therapeutic areas including immunology, immuno-oncology, central nervous system (schizophrenia, epilepsy and neuropathic pain), women’s health, pain, and opioid use disorder.

As a pharmacist with more than 15 years of patient and healthcare provider experience, Dr. Christian is energized by the Lyndra platform, which has the potential to improve medication adherence, one of the greatest areas of unmet need in the delivery of healthcare. Dr. Christian is committed to successfully charting the regulatory pathway to approval for the unique LYNX™ drug delivery platform and Lyndra’s portfolio of products. She is dedicated to the highest standards of quality assurance and focused on accelerating the pathway of these important treatments to patients.

Throughout her career, Dr. Christian has been an advocate and leader for mentoring and DE&I (diversity, equity and inclusion) efforts with a concentration in elevating women into leadership roles. She has created and led company programs such as ONWARD (Our Network of Women Accelerating R&D) at Cyclerion, and the BMS Network of Women (BNOW), for which she accepted the Healthcare Businesswoman’s ACE Award for work in advancing women’s careers.

Dr. Christian recently created an organization matching first-generation college students with professionals to secure paid internships (payingprivilegeforward.com); is a mentor in the American Corporate Partnership, supporting the transition of servicemen and women from the military to the civilian workforce; and has served as the vice chair and trustee on the Center for Great Expectations Board of Directors (cge-nj.org).

Dr. Christian received her Doctorate in clinical pharmacy from the University of Florida, Master of Business Administration in pharmaceutical business from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, and her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University College of Pharmacy. A dedicated continuous learner, she is currently a candidate in the Financial Times Non-Executive Director Diploma program. Dr. Christian enjoys traveling the globe to visit her family in London, Louisiana, Missouri, New Jersey, Ireland and Norway. She and her husband now call South Carolina home.
